Find Your Perfect Holiday

easyJet Holidays have launched their UK summer 2012 schedule, offering more than 300 destinations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The launch of the easyJet 2012 schedule ‘allows passengers to look forward and book early to secure the best fares for annual sunshine holidays and weekend getaways next year’, according to Paul Simmons, easyJet Holidays’ UK director.

With so many exciting destinations on offer, holidaymakers have plenty of choice. With several opting to enjoy all that Europe has to offer, Spain is a consistent favourite. Deals for holidays to Majorca are as popular as ever, with Brits returning again and again to the Balearic Island.

Majorca’s numerous beaches are a big attraction and, with so many to choose from, holidaymakers will find the beach experience they are looking for, from busy, lively spaces to private, secluded coves. Many of them have achieved Blue Flag status. Sun worshippers flock to Majorca every year for its beautiful Mediterranean setting and consistently warm weather.

Nature lovers and birdwatchers will also delight in the island’s natural parks and nature reserves and the stunning Tramuntana Mountains, while families will enjoy spending time at one of the many water parks on the island.

The capital, Palma, boasts a vibrant nightlife with many clubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. It also offers much to do and see during the day. Travellers can take in the cultural sights, visiting the famous La Seu Cathedral and Arab Baths while taking a stroll in the old historical quarter of the city and exploring the 14th Century Bellver Castle.

Egypt is also a hugely popular tourist destination for Brits abroad. It has overtaken traditional Mediterranean sun holidays in many respects, with holidaymakers heading further afield in search of a good bargain. Egypt holidays in 2012 offer plenty of sun and fun, with increasingly fashionable resorts to choose from. The many golden beaches along the Red Sea coast are attracting Europeans who come to enjoy the warm climate, water sports and fascinating culture.

The coastal resorts of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada for example offer a lively clubbing atmosphere for party-seekers, as well as miles of unspoilt white sand to enjoy. Celebrated for their stunning coral reef, tourists flock to experience the natural beauty of the region, with plenty of opportunities for scuba diving and snorkelling.

Of course a trip to Egypt would not be complete without a salute to the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, along the River Nile. Follow in the footsteps of the millions of Egypt’s annual tourists who count this as a must-see.

Holidaymakers are spoilt for choice with so many routes operating out of the UK, and it is merely a case of choosing the getaway that suits you.
